 Sub: Procedure for filing Shipping Bills under ICES (I) through

             floppy from the service centre of New Custom House, Mumbai

             to Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House –Reg.

 

All Exporters, CHAs and Members of the Trade are hereby informed that in partial modification to Public Notice no. 55/02 dtd. 12.08.02 and to Public notice no. 71/02 dtd.23.10.02. The procedure for filing S/B through floppy from the Service Centre of New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai to Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House , Nhava Sheva is as follows:

1)         The CHA/Exporter shall bring the floppy for S/B prepared as per the format mentioned in PN no.55/02 dtd. 12.08.02 alongwith checklist generated by RES Package in their premises or check list generated by inhouse package developed by CHA/Exporter. The floppy alongwith checklist should be handed over to the DEOs/Senior Tax Assistant of JNCH sitting in IGM room of Service Centre in 2nd floor of Annex Bldg. of New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai.

2)         After submission of S/B to the Export server of JNCH, the S/B no. generated will be written by hand by the DEOs/Senior Tax Assistant on the checklist brought by the CHA/Exporter and the checklist will be handed over to the CHA/Exporter.                              

Any difficulties faced in the implementation of the Public Notice may be brought to the notice of the concerned Jt.Commr. / Addl.Commr. of Export Dept of the respective CFS. For systems related problems, the Trade may approach EDI help desk at CWC, CFS, Dronagiri (Ph.No.27241256) as per PN.no.54/2002 dtd.9.8.02.
