FACILITY NOTICE No. 38/2006
Attention
of all Importers, Exporters, CHAs and members of the
Trade is invited to Public Notice No. 37/2006 dated 01.06.2006 regarding in-principle approval to the Nhava Sheva branch of Bank of
India for the collection of Customs Duty .
2. The
formal approval has since been received from Principal Chief Controller of
Accounts, CBEC for authorizing Bank Of India, Nhava Sheva Branch (BSR Code
0221511) for collection of Customs duty.
This would be in addition to the existing nominated bank i.e. State Bank
of India and the trade will have an option to pay the Customs Duty at either of
the two Banks.
3. The
facility for payment of Customs duty at Bank of India, Nhava
Sheva Branch will commence from 12.06.2006.
The
contents of this notice may be brought to the notice of all the members of your
Association/ Organisation.
