Attention
of all the officers of this Custom House is invited to the subject matter.
2. Representations
have been received from exporters that facility of granting LEO for factory stuffed containers should be extended
on Sundays & Holidays also which was hitherto available for factory stuffed
reefer container/containers of perishable cargo vide S.O.No.17/2005 dt.
3. As
a Trade Facilitation measure, it has been decided to extend the facility of granting
LEO to all the factory stuffed containers on Sundays & Holidays also. Deputy / Assistant Commissioner of Customs,
in-charge of Exports, GDL should deploy officers for smooth operation of the
above facility.
