Subject : Re-structuring of Centralized Refund Section at JNCH, Nhava Sheva-Reg.

Attention of all Exporters, Importers, Customs House Agents, Members of Trade and all concerned is invited to Notfn. No. 102/2007-Customs dated 14/09/2007, under which refund of Special Additional Duty is permitted. A large number of refund claims have been filed and also there is a consistent inflow of refund claims. Therefore, it is desirable to restructure the CRC-II Section to receive, process, monitor and sanctioned the refunds of SAD.

2. CRC-II(A): This section shall receive monitor, process and sanction the refunds of Special Additional Duty under Notfn. No. 102/2007 including the refunds of DEPB of Group-IIA, IIB, IIC, IID, IIE, III and other related work.

3. CRC-II(B): All the refund claims of Special Additional Duty under Notfn. No. 102/2007 including the refunds of DEPB of Group-I, IV, VA, VB, VI and the work related to issue of Public Notice and Standing Orders on SAD refunds.

4. The trade is advised to file their refund claims to the respective CRC Sections and they shall file a single refund claim in a month for the groups as referred to above to the respective Asstt./Dy. Commissioners.

5. All trade and the industrial associations are requested to bring the contents of this Public Notice to the knowledge of their members.
