TENDER NOTICE
The Commissioner of Customs, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva for and on behalf of the President of India invites Sealed Tenders from reputed and technically proficient companies for providing EDI Connectivity through MTNL Lease Line (for which necessary work orders had already by MTNL Department) from Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House to Container Gate, Container Gate to Boarding Office and Container Gate to Container Scanning Yard.
a. Supply of equipment
i) Router Cisco 1841 1 Nos.
ii) Card WIC (2T) 2 Nos.
iii) V-35 Cable 3 Nos.
iv) Modem Ascom AM 200 of 2
MBPS
(Modem should support the routing
features) 12 Nos.
v) D-link 8 Port Switches 3 Nos.
b. Installation / Configuration / Liasoning with MTNL.
c. Comprehensive maintenance for one year which will include supply, replacement and fixing / installation equipment & Liasoning with MTNL for laying of cable.
2. Preference will be given to companies who have maintained or under execution / maintenance that work of similar nature to other organization in the JNPT area in the last 3 years. The bidders are required to mention the list of customers.
3. Sealed tenders should reach the undersigned within 3 weeks from the date of publication of this notice. Tenders received after the prescribed time limit will not be considered. The Commissioner of Customs has the right to reject / cancel any or all of the tenders received without assigning any reasons thereof.
4. For details of the Tender Notice and site inspection and layout network chart. interested parties may contact the Superintendent of Customs, EDI Section, 2nd floor, A-Wing, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom, Nhava Sheva on any working day between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Details can also be obtained from the website www.jawaharcustoms.gov.in
5. All material supplied should be of best quality and should confirm to BIS standard and should have a limited warranty of 3 years.
6. Prices should be quoted separately for each item.
7. All the items are likely to be procured against ‘D’ certificate for the purpose of exemption from Sales Tax. The bidders are required to indicate all inclusive prices for item, with and without D-Certificate.
8. Any defect which may appear either in material or workmanship within a period of 12 months from the date of valid completion of work should be rectified and deficiencies made good by the bidder.
9. The estimated time required for undertaking the above work is 4 weeks from the date of receipt of work order.
10. In case of delay beyond 4 weeks suitable penalty will be charged on the bidder.
11. Payment shall be made only after completion of the work. A performance Bank Guarantee @ 2% will have to be submitted prior to the release of payment.
12. Commissioner is not necessarily bound to accept the lowest offer/bid.
