Sir,

Sub: Supply of documents for processing of Drawback claim -reg.

Due to certain investigation being conducted by DRI, Mumbai Zonal Unit, Drawback claims of some exporters could not be processed for want of verification of some documents. It is hereby informed to all concerned IEC Holders/Exporters to furnish the below mentioned documents to SIIB (X) for verification and to enable the processing of due Drawback claim on priority of the exporters, whose Drawback claims could not be processed till date,:-

1. Details of Shipping Bills where Drawback is pending,

2. BRCs of past exports as well as pending cases,

3. In case of Merchant exporters, Purchase orders placed to local supplier of goods and Payment details for purchase of export goods,

4. Copy of I.T. Returns and Balance Sheet of last two financial years,

5. Address proof of IECs holder, viz. rent agreement/ documents to prove ownership of the office premises, Electricity Bills, Telephone Bills,

6. Bank Account details maintained for the purpose of Drawback.

However, status holders need to provide only a copy of the valid status certificate along with item mentioned at Serial no. 3 above, to facilitate expeditious disbursal of their Drawback claims.
