STANDING ORDER NO.07 /2013

1.Attention of all officers and Staff working at JNCH is invited to the Public Notice 52/2009 dated 06.08.2009 regarding entry of factory stuffed (including self sealed) export containers into port terminals after LEO.

2.It has again being observed that instructions issued with reference to the movement of factory stuffed tractor trailers are not being strictly followed in terms of Public Notice No.52/2009 and 23/2010.

3.It is hereby directed that all officers posted at CFSs/Buffer Yards and gates at the port terminals shall ensure strict compliance of the above cited public notices in respect of factory stuffed tractor trailers. Officers are directed to ensure that all the factory stuffed Tractor Trailers destined to designated CFSs/buffer yards, do not move out of the CFS/Yard unless an LEO is issued, and are not found in any of the empty spaces all around, awaiting LEO.

4. It is re-iterated that any contravention of the procedure laid down in the above cited public notices shall be viewed seriously and strict action will be initiated against the errant officers.
